Beth Cheshire
Digital Officer at the Co-operative Party – Driving engagement through strategic digital campaigns, marketing, and various forms of digital communication including email. I have played a significant role in shaping the Co-operative Party’s brand voice and strategic communication decisions, ensuring consistency across all digital touchpoints. From targeted ads to organic content, I guide supporters from their first interaction to active membership and beyond. With a focus on mobilisation, I empower members to take meaningful action at all levels of the movement.
Dr Trish Fisher
Dr Fisher graduated from Manchester University in 1989. She did her oncology training in Liverpool, Leeds and Sheffield taking up her consultant post in September 1998. She is involved in the delivery of the full range of non-surgical treatments for thoracic malignancies. Her research interest is the treatment of mesothelioma. She established the Network Mesothelioma MDT in 2007. She has been the Clinical Director of the South Yorkshire Bassetlaw and North Derbyshire Cancer Alliance since April 2019. (14 years trustee experience at Weston Park Charity).

Dr Duneesha Fonseka
Dr de Fonseka has a specialist interest in pleural disease and has sat on the British Thoracic Society national guideline committees for both mesothelioma and pleural disease. Her clinical interests include pleural infection, pleural effusions, mesothelioma, diffuse pleural thickening, pneumothorax, and lung cancer.
Helena Stanley
Since 1999 I have worked as a Specialist Nurse looking after people with Lung Cancer and Mesothelioma. My nursing background is in oncology. I am a committee member of the National Lung Cancer Nurses Forum (NLCFN) and the British Thoracic Oncology Group (BTOG). I am a member of the International Thoracic Oncology Nurses Forum (ITONF), the International Association for the Study of Lung Cancer (IASLC), the International Mesothelioma Interest Group (IMIG) and the UK Oncology Nurse Society (UKONS).
