SARAG Trustees

SARAG currently has five Trustees, who meet regularly to discuss organisational matters and the work of the charity. The Trustees have varied experience and we are always keen to encourage new Trustees to join SARAG to help manage and guide the organisation into a sustainable future.

If you are interested in becoming a Trustee, some relevant experience would be preferred particularly financial and also fundraising experience, however, it is more important that you are interested in SARAG’s work and are willing to learn, actively participate and contribute to the overall management. As a Trustee, you would be involved in such aspects as setting the vision and strategic direction, ensuring the organisation complies with legal regulations, and monitoring activity and finances for example.

There will be training opportunities and also the opportunity to gain experience in organisational management by being involved in planning the strategic future for SARAG. As a Trustee, you will also have the satisfaction that you will be not only supporting SARAG staff, but also asbestos victims, relatives and carers of people affected by asbestos related diseases throughout the region.
