Asbestos Victims Support Groups Forum UK
SARAG is a founder member of the Asbestos Victims Support Groups Forum UK (AVSGF-UK), which was formed in 2005. AVSGF-UK is an umbrella organisation representing asbestos victims support groups. The Forum’ s main purpose is to work collectively to provide one voice for asbestos victims.
The Forum is open to all asbestos victims’ support groups who work on behalf of asbestos victims. All groups should be independent, not-for-profit organisations or registered charities. They must abide by the Forum constitution, and the Forum Principles of Good Practice, which set out minimum standards for groups. Groups are registered in one of three categories defined by the services they provide to asbestos victims. All groups actively support Forum campaigns.

All Party Parliamentary Panel on Asbestos
SARAG was instrumental in forming the All Party Parliamentary Panel on Asbestos. The APPP continues to meet and provide a focal point for change in regard to provision of services, treatment and funding to find a cure for mesothelioma.
